Auto Rental

Next month my husband and I are traveling to France. Part of our trip consists of attending a wedding just outside of the city where we will be staying. There is no public transportation to get us to the reception on the timetable that we need, so we decided that renting a car will be our best option. After comparing prices on several different websites, we settled on one that gave us a mid-size vehicle with an unlimited number of kilometers. We were able to book on-line, which was very convenient because we will not have to pay when we pick up the vehicle. Part of the process asked us to select accident insurance for the vehicle. There were four different options to choose from, each more expensive than the one prior. We finally settled on one in the middle range, so that we will be covered in case anything happens, but won't have to pay too much in premiums.

The good think for us was that we were already covered by a automatic travel accident insurance policy we had through our bank account. It had been that long since we travled overseas that I've even forgot that we had it. I knew the extra charges on my bank account would pay for themselves some day.
