Use of Loops and Samples

A sample is a recorded sound in professional audio recording software that can be dragged onto the arrangement window in the place where you want to hear it. Loops are cleverly recorded samples that, when placed end to end in the arrangement window, sound as if there's no audible 'join' between them. Instead, when repeated, the sound continues seamlessly.

The use of loops and samples in professional audio recording software involves taking short clips of music and arranging them to form songs. The loops and samples, which are usually represented by short rectangles, are dragged and dropped with the mouse into a main arrangement window.
