All of us have involved with selling something at some point of time or the other in our lives. As a salesperson, we are to pretend that we have been the expert witness for something. Speaking in a manner that we are able to motivate the audience into buying something or for that matter, providing his ascent for something, enables this. One of the major factors that a good salesperson should possess is humor. He/she should be able to generate humor from his conversations. After all, nobody is going to disagree with you when they are laughing. And then, after the entire conversation, what they remember is the about how good the other person was. There it is! You have not only motivated the audience to do something but also ensured that he remembers to do it again and again. These are the signs of famous motivational speakers.

20 November 2007

This is an excellent use of time spent commuting to work or on the way to the next sales call. That last boost of enthusiasm will reinforce the ego and fine-tune confidence.
