Don’t go to stage four

If you live in Northeastern Pennsylvania you are more likely to receive a stage 4 colon cancerstage four colon cancer diagnosis than elesewhere is the US. A forty nine year old woman from the area who received just that diagnosis, has survived for two cancer free years. Most people who are at stage four will die.
But why are people in this area at greater risk of colorectal cancer than the average US citizen?
A study is being carried out, to find the answer, but early indicators are, a higher level of smokers than average, poor diet choice, and a reluctance to go for screening, could combine to give the higher than average incidences.
