Diet Health Food - It’s Not Always More Expensive
21 February 2008
One of the hold ups that stop people from eating diet health food is that they think it will cost far more than the foods they are currently purchasing. There is some merit to this. However it is usually blown out of proportion. For example some of the healthiest foods are beans — they are extremely less costly than meat. You can substitute beans for meat and buy more expensive vegetables. In the end, the cost will come out about the same.
At the same time, if you cut down on your consumption of foods that have no nutritional value, you will save money. Imagine how much money would save if you never bought any junk food.
