Wondering About Using A Wireless Broadband Notebook

10 August 2008

I really need a
wireless broadband notebook. One more day-long stint working in my lightless cell of an apartment might just send me over the edge. It would be much better to get out and work in a cafe or some other internet hotspot.
I honestly don’t know how I got along before the invention of Wireless Laptop NetworkingWireless Laptop Service. Now I can work anywhere. Being able to work from home is great and all, but it gets old fast when there’s no one around to keep you company.
Where to work tomorrow? Starbucks? The library? The park even? So many choices.
What do you think?

Alright, enough is enough. I have to invest in a wireless laptop. I need to get out of this pit of an apartment.
Wireless Internet For Laptop Computers must be the best invention ever. For me anyway. Anything that gets me out of the house is great, but one that lets me get my work done and be around people is truly life changing.
I think I might work in the park tomorrow - bring the dogs along. Ain’t it the life, though?
I’ll keep you posted.

Setup is always something that people are worried about. When you are dealing with something like a wireless printer nic, it can be really scary at first, because dealing with anything wireless is always a little tricky. The good news is that these kinds of networks come with installation guides that can help you every step of the way. No longer are you going to have to guess if you have everything set up the way it needs to be. These systems are going to let you know when you have done it the right away. Most of the time these instructions are easy to follow, and it should only take you a few seconds to get it up and running.

Wireless Broadband Notebook

28 May 2008

My shiny new wireless broadband notebook arrived today. I spent a lovely afternoon working at my local Starbucks. Yeah yeah, cliche I know, but it was so nice to get out of the house. I was beginning to look like the belly of a fish after all these days spent in my dungeon of an apartment.
I’m hoping that Wireless Internet Access For Your Laptop will go a long way toward saving my sanity. I go stir crazy if I’m trapped inside for too long, even at home.
I think my next “office” will be the local brew pub. Working on pub grub, Guinness in hand - sounds good to me.

I took the plunge and had cat 5 cable wiring installed.

03 January 2008

I was tired of my dial up connection. Downloads took forever, and I was constantly having to reconnect when my connection was lost. I needed something more reliable and much faster. I finally took the plunge and had cat 5 cable wiring installed. I wish I would have done it sooner. I can stay on the internet as long as I want without having to worry about losing my connection. Downloading is quick and easy too.

How Do You Choose the Right Wireless Router?

21 November 2007

There are hundreds of routers out there ranging from just a few dollars to many hundreds of bucks. So, the first point to consider is your budget. For most networks you can buy a perfectly adequate Wireless router for under $100. But this isn’t nearly enough to narrow your choices. So what else should you consider? How easy is it to set up? How well does it perform? How good are the instructions and problem solving guides? Is the router compatible with your hardware? These are just some of the questions you should be asking. The best way to find out this information is by comparing product reviews from people who have already bought and used these routers.

Wireless Network design principles.

21 November 2007

Design and integration is very important to maintaining the overall reliability of the most advanced RF design kits and process technologies in the industry. Designing a wireless network design are based on the utilization of a single Home Location Register (HLR) for each wireless network, but growth considerations are prompting consideration for multiple HLR topologies. Wireless design is one of these networks is quite different from a wireless network design is one of the application requirements. Traditional network design are based principally on projected subscriber density, desired coverage area, and traffic demand.

Making sure transactions online are secure

19 November 2007

If you are going to run an ecommerce business then you need to make sure all your transactions are secure. I did some research recently because I am looking to setup an online store, I found out that I need to have a SSL certificate to improve the security of my store. Basically this setup will encrypt the transactions so that the credit card user’s details don’t fall into the hands of unauthorized individuals. It just makes plain good security sense to me.
